Great progress at the Flower Bowl

As we approach week 20 of the construction programme, The Flower Bowl is definitely taking shape. The 45,000 sq ft family-orientated leisure destination is being constructed adjacent to the existing Barton Grange Garden Centre, near Garstang. The complex will be one large, single storey building, with an undulating grass roof to give a natural appearance.

The works to date have included the erection of the intricate steel-framed structure, the pouring of concrete slabs and the majority of the roofing and cladding works.

With only three months left on site, the next steps are to complete the roof works, cladding works and installation of windows and doors to get the building watertight ready for handover to the client. From this point, the completed shell will undergo extensive internal fit-out to deliver a wide range of facilities including a Curling Rink, Ten Pin Bowling, a Cinema plus many more!
