Fantastic progress made at Unicorn Hall

Truman is steadily advancing towards the completion of the Unicorn Halls project in Preston. The project involves the transformation of an old public house into modern studio apartments for students, alongside the construction of new accommodation blocks.

Once delivered the development will deliver 128 studio apartments within three and five-storey newly built accommodation blocks. Additionally, a Grade 2 listed public house is being converted into five studio apartments and communal spaces, blending contemporary living with historical preservation.

Recent developments include significant progress in both the new build and existing structures:

In the new build structure, the top floor has been outfitted with furnishings, awaiting the final touches from decorators. The second floor has been fully furnished, while progress on the first floor is well on track. Brick slip installation is nearing completion, with scaffolding gradually being dismantled, revealing the building's sleek exterior.

Within the existing structure, stabilisation work has been successfully completed, enabling the commencement of interior refurbishment. Stripping out the interior has been completed, and the structure is currently undergoing plasterboard installation.

We’re aiming for completion in late spring and moving towards it at full speed. Stay tuned for further updates as we continue to make strides towards project completion.
