A game-changer in the Manchester suburbs

Working with our client, Step Places, Truman delivered 13 one and two-bedroom apartments across a four-story complex in one of Manchester’s most up-and-coming suburbs. Situated on the outskirts of the city centre, the apartments will be popular with professionals looking for an easy commute into the city and a spot amongst all the bars, restaurants and shops Withington and nearby Didsbury have to offer.

Step Places has a deep focus on quality and the work they commissioned Truman to do at Swinborne Grove reinforces that. The project stands out for its obvious quality and eye-catching appearance in an area that has become of particular interest to developers.

The finished apartments feature a brickwork façade with decorative feature projections and sleek aluminium standing seam cladding. Internally, the apartments feature high-quality modern fixtures and fittings, premium vinyl plank floor finishes and balcony space on the fourth-floor units.

Our team brought their game-changing attitude to the project right from the earliest stages. The original design intent was to utilise a steel frame structure with concrete floors. Through close collaboration with the client and design team, this method was changed to a lightweight gauge steel solution, in turn reducing the cost and duration of the project.
