Wardle Academy nears practical completion

Truman continues to make significant strides in the Wardle Academy extension project. Situated in Rochdale and commissioned by the Watergrove Trust with a substantial budget of £1.4 million, the project is on track for practical completion by the start of Spring 2024.

The expansion of the Anderson Suite included the addition of three new classrooms and upgraded kitchen facilities, providing a welcome upgrade to the school's infrastructure. Moreover, the suite's transformation includes a refurbishment of the ladies' toilets, the introduction of a new entrance hall, and a modernised boiler system, ensuring both functionality and efficiency.

Following the completion of the timber superstructure, our attention turned to the details of the internal fit-out, marking the home stretch of the project. With practical completion just around the corner, the focus is shifting to the external ground works, encompassing essential tasks such as Tarmac laying and landscaping.

With student numbers on the rise, this expansion project remains integral to meeting the educational institution's evolving needs. We’re committed to delivering a high-quality end result for our client and look forward to students making use of the new facilities.
